My love for flowers began in my early childhood, nurtured in my grandparents magical garden with their dinner plate dahlias, garden roses, a strawberry patch & pansy viola faces. I believe gardening and flowers are hereditary. In 2022 we bought our 4 acre property and the 100+ year old home, 'Fermanagh' with no intention of growing flowers on the scale that I do now. I planted 2000 corms and bulbs around my house garden in April 2024 and began working on our farm beds in May 2024 and sold my first flowers that Spring at our local market and meeting people was my favourite part. We have 16 flower beds and 14 raised beds in our cutting garden (with the intention of expanding) and choose cut flowers for picking during Spring, Summer & Autumn. I do not grow everything that I possibly can but I prefer to trial different flower crops to determine what best grows in our location and what I enjoy growing as the seasons change. I love growing bold bright colours!
Inviting the community to come along to experience flower picking and workshops is such a pleasure. I enjoy meeting new flower lovers, educating and sharing my skills with others.
Erin is a fantastic host – warm, knowledgeable and incredibly generous with sharing her expertise about dahlias and flowers. She explained everything clearly and made the whole process feel approachable. I also really appreciated the goodies she sent home with us which was such a thoughtful touch. I am feeling much more confident about dividing and storing dahlia tubers now. Highly recommend her workshops!
Erin invited me to her farm to pick flowers and it was such a wonderful, wholesome experience for me and my daughter. She took the time to show us how to harvest dahlias and zinnias, and we learned so much while enjoying the beautiful surrounds of the farm. The setting is absolutely stunning, and we spent a lovely, relaxed morning at Bunches—one we’ll both remember fondly.
Come and wander the farm, take some beautiful photos for Instagram, and don’t forget to tag us so we can see your day.
